Without the burden of physical power cables, wireless power technologies using magnetic coupling transfer power from a few mill watts to hundreds of kilowatts with transfer distances from a few millimeters to hundreds of millimeters. It makes our lives certainly more convenient, comfortable and productive than any previous generation. In the future, wireless power technologies would be completely integrated into our daily life supplying power to our personal electronic devices, wearable/implantable electronics, home appliances and electric vehicles. Wireless Power Week 2020 (WPW 20200 will have the IEEE PELS Workshop on Emerging Technologies: Wireless Power (WoW) and IEEE MTT-S Wireless Power Transfer Conference (WPTC). They will be co-located in Seoul, Korea on May 5 – 9, 2020, bringing together and allowing interactions of the world’s experts in wireless power technologies. As a part of the WPW 2020, the WoW 2020 features keynote speeches and regular technical sessions on the theory, analysis, design, testing and applications of wireless power technologies.
