Conference for Wind Power Drives 2019

The Conference for Wind Power Drives is now organized the fourth time since 2013. The conference is being held every two years and the latest state of research and technique are going to be presented. We are going to focus on drive trains, pitch and yaw systems of wind turbines.

The CWD 2019 acts as an interdisciplinary platform for knowledge and technology transfer between developers, research scientists and operators. Furthermore, the conference promotes networking between industry and university in the field of wind turbine generator drive trains. The conference will be supported by the Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA), the Research Association for Drive Technology (FVA) and IEEE Power Electronics Society.
