Kuwait is set to dramatically increase the country's power capacity to 17,500 MW by 2014, up from the current capacity of 12,000 MW. The world's fourth-largest oil exporter is looking at meeting growing energy demands and the expansion of the country's electricity grid is part of a larger four-year development plan worth $106.3bn. The government will spend over $21.3bn on power and water projects.  This event aims to deliver high quality energy education to various stakeholders.

The 2nd Kuwait Electricity Conference & Exhibition will offer a unique platform to learn, discuss and exchange experience about the development, technologies and techniques in System Operation and Control, System Planning, Development and Technical Studies, Substations, Power Transformers and Reactors, Switchgear and HV Equipment, Transmission Lines and Cables, HVDC and Power Electronics, and Emerging Technologies.

The 2nd Kuwait Electricity Conference & Exhibition will offer organisations with business interests in the region to leverage the opportunity and play a major role in one of the world's fastest developing power markets. It is a premium platform to meet decision-makers, policy planners, business associates & prospective clients.
