WaikatoLink Limited is the commercialization and technology transfer company of the University of Waikato. A wholly-owned subsidiary of The University of Waikato incorporated in 1993, WaikatoLink was founded to maximize the economic potential of the University's Intellectual Property and to bridge the gap between academic research and the realization of technology potential.
WaikatoLink's key role is to commercialize opportunities and IP developed by the University of Waikato. To effectively commercialize University-generated intellectual property, WaikatoLink undertakes four main functions: Commercialization, Intellectual Property Management, Technology Development and Building Industry Linkage.
