he Applied Power Electronics Conference, will convene March 16-20, 2014 at the Fort Worth Texas Convention Center, will provide:

Attendees at APEC 2014 will find several technical features that will enhance their APEC experience. Attendees with smart phones can now download an App that will provide them with information about conference sessions and speakers, schedules of all events and exhibitor directory. The App will enable attendees to put together their schedule to make optimum use of their time at the conference. Other technical enhancements at the Convention Center include:

• Hosted Cyber Cafes in the exhibit hall
• Digital signage outside session rooms to allow for updates and additional information about the sessions.

The APEC 2014 program offers attendees over 400 high-quality technical papers, a slate of Professional Education Seminars on Sunday and Monday and a series of 12 Industry Sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday where important and timely industry developments will be introduced. The ever-popular Micro-Mouse Contest will be held on Monday night after the opening evening exhibit. On Tuesday evening, after the exhibits close, everyone is invited to sit in on one of the engaging Rap Sessions that always generate a lot of dialog.

Attendees at APEC 2014 will have a special treat this year at the Wednesday evening Gala which will be held at AT&T Stadium, Home of the Dallas Cowboys! Attendees are invited wear their favorite team’s jersey as we celebrate on the home field of the Dallas Cowboys. For our international attendees where “football” is the game called “soccer” in the states, why not plan to bring your football jersey?

In addition to delicious food and live music, there will be the unique opportunity to play interactive field games and go behind-the-scenes to tour exclusive areas of the stadium. We will also be treated to a personal, live performance and meet & greet with the world-famous Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders!

Transportation will be provided from the Fort Worth Convention Center, beginning at 6:30pm. Buses will be available throughout the evening returning to the Convention Center. A ticket to this event is included with a full conference registration. Additional tickets are available for purchase through the registration site.

APEC 2014 promises to be the largest APEC event ever – exceeding last year’s record-breaking attendance. This year we are planning on 3,500 attendees and around 200 exhibitors.
