our members of the PSMA Board of Directors are elected at the Annual Meeting held every year during the APEC conference. Each Director serves a three year term and is eligible to be reelected for one additional term. In this issue, we would like you to meet Michel Grenon, who was elected to his second term in 2012 and Ed Herbert, who was elected to his first term in 2012.
In 1980, Michel joined a company selling products, engineering and installation services to the main Telco’s in Canada and in the United States. They sold the Siemens (Stromberg-Carlson), Alcatel, Nortel, Marconi’s products and systems, such as Central Offices, SONET systems and power systems to all the major telephone companies. Michel supervised both the sales and purchasing departments, with gross sales revenue of fifty million dollars and a staff of 300 plus employees. Michel joined Gaïa Converter in 2006, managing the North-American Operations where the main focus is to expand our presence both in the United States and Canada. Gaïa Converter’s goal is to become an important player in the power industry with a sole focus on the DC to DC converters niche market.
