 our members of the Board of Directors are elected at the PSMA Annual Meeting held every year during the APEC conference. Each Director serves a three year term and is eligible to be reelected for one additional term.
In this issue we would like to introduce you to Deepak Veereddy.
Professional experience:
Deepak Veereddy is a Director of Technical Marketing at Infineon Technologies, where he is leading a global team of product definition & product application engineers with focus on Silicon and Silicon Carbide power MOSFETs. He had previously held multiple management and engineering positions in the areas of application engineering, device reliability, characterization, test, and design for Si, GaN and SiC power semiconductors.
Education:
Deepak received MS degree in Electrical Engineering from University of South Carolina in 2008 and BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Osmania University, India in 2006. Volunteering experience:
Since the inception of JC-70 and until March 2022 (for > 4.5 years), Deepak served as a co-chair of the task group TG701_3, responsible for creating standards and guidelines of GaN Power Conversion Semiconductor Test & Characterization Methods. During his tenure as a co-chair of TG701_3, he led an international team to deliver the first ever Wide Band Gap guideline, JEP173 that focuses on GaN dynamic Rdson test method. He has been on the APEC planning committee since May 2022, helping with planning and organizing the Industry Sessions.
