We understand the complexities of the development process and the abbreviated timelines in which you must deliver. ICE Components offers one of the broadest lines of standard and custom magnetics for advanced power applications. Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for today’s time pressed engineers by providing a range of choices within each product category.
Our core product offering includes Power Inductors, Output Power Chokes, Off-line Transformers, Gate Drive Transformers, Current Sense Transformers, SMT Power Inductors, Common Mode Chokes, Differential Mode Chokes and Line Filters. ICE Components also offers custom magnetic solutions to meet your specific design needs.
ENGINEERING CAPABILITIES
ICE Components works closely with the leading IC manufacturers to understand the problems our customers will be facing in the future and to make development decisions accordingly. We continually strive for advancements in the areas of current density, efficiency and high frequency performance. ICE Engineers bring to market innovative components that enable better and more advanced end-products for our customers. Our engineering services include SMPS Transformer Design, Rapid Prototyping, Plastic Injection Molding, and Ferrite Core Tooling. In addition, our in-house machine shop provides test fixtures, assembly jigs, core gapping, core coating and custom mounting bases.
MANUFACTURING & CUSTOM CAPABILITIES
|
Since inception, ICE Components has operated a manufacturing base in China. Our factory in Shenzhen China employs over 2,500 workers with a production capacity of 2,500,000 transformers and 3,750,000 inductors per month.
Our flexible production line easily accepts small quantity runs up to million piece production runs. Should you need a custom solution, our engineers will provide solid support in the early stages of your design in order to help you find the most efficient, cost competitive solution available to you. RAPID TRANSFORMER SAMPLE SERVICE
ICE Components has teamed up with Power Integrations to offer the Rapid Transformer Sample Service (RTSS). This innovative service enables customers to trim days off the power supply prototyping schedule by taking advantage of the quick turnaround on transformer samples. Typical lead-time on RTSS samples is two weeks and samples are provided free of charge to qualified accounts. Lead-time can be reduced to one week in special cases. In developing this service, ICE Components worked closely with Power Integrations to minimize the number of design iterations and better determine the right transformer for specified applications. To simplify the process even further, customers requesting samples from RTSS can submit a Power Integrations design tool spreadsheet from the company’s PI Expert Suite PSU design software, saving the time needed to create detailed documentation.
POINTS OF DISTRIBUTION Today, ICE offers one of the broadest product lines, including more than 1,500 standard parts and custom solutions. Based in Marietta, Georgia, our warehouse supports lean manufacturing, is flexible and offers a quick turn-around on inventory requests. With the help of partners overseas, we now serve customers in Europe, Israel, India, Australia, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan, China, Mexico, Brazil, and Costa Rica.
