Teodora Plamenova Todorova received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in communication engineering and technologies and the Ph.D. degree in electronics from Technical University of Varna, Varna, Bulgaria, in 2012, 2014 and 2018, respectively. As a part of her Ph.D. study, from 2016 to 2017, she was an Exchange Student at the Electrical Energy Laboratory, Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium, where she was conducting research in the area of high frequency power magnetic components and electrical conductivity of Mn-Zn ferrites.

Since 2019, she has been an assistant professor in the Department of Power Electronics at Technical University of Sofia, Sofia, Bulgaria. Her current research interests include high-frequency power magnetic components with focus on electrical properties of Mn-Zn ferrites and their influence on the core loss, total power loss in magnetic cores and a description of its nature, electronic circuits, equipment and approaches appropriate for measurements of magnetic core loss and characterization of the electromagnetic properties of soft-magnetic materials.
