Bel Power

B el Power focuses on the design and manufacture of AC-DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, Point of Load modules (PoL’s) and Voltage Regulator Modules (VRM’s).  It maintains design offices in Westborough Massachusetts, Hangzhou China and Camparada Italy as well as manufacturing operations in Zhongshan China.  Bel Power is a leading supplier of power conversion solutions to many large global OEM’s with products that target communication, data processing, data storage and industrial applications.  The Bel Power portfolio is one of the broadest in the industry.

Products include single and multiple output isolated DC-DC converters with available input voltage ranges that span the traditional telecom 36V-72V range, the industrial 18V-36V range, and universal ultra wide 18V to 72V range.  Application specific input ranges are also available.   All of the common output voltages are supported including sub 1V thru 5V, 9.6V, 10V, 12V, 24V, 28V, 48V, 54V, and 96V.  Custom set points are also available.  Bel’s isolated power product portfolio is packaged in a variety of industry standard foot prints including 1”x1”, 1”x2”, 1/16th, 1/8th,1/4,1/2, and full brick.  Bel’s isolated DC-DC technology is also available in custom DC front ends.

Bel Power is committed to offering one of the largest selections of non-isolated PoL converters and also manufactures VRM’s that comply with the VRM8.5 thru VRM12.5 standards.  Many of the new industry footprints are complemented by legacy footprint product as well as customer specified packaging.  Pin thru-hole (PTH) and surface mount (SMD) interfaces are included in the package options.

AC-DC  power supply solutions are available in many configurations from sub 50W through 4kW.  Bel’s AC/DC capability includes platforms that are cost effective and also provide high reliability.  These products are available with multiple cooling options including convection, forced air and base plate water cooled.  Deployments of Bel’s AC-DC offerings include shelf mounted AC front ends, industrial solutions, high power broadcasting applications and battery charging.

Bel Power has a broad range of design capabilities that include tradition analog approaches as well as digital control solutions.  Many interface options are available as standard or custom features.  Bel’s offerings and capabilities keep pace with constantly changing demands in the industry for cost effective designs with high usable power density, world class reliability, improved performance, and contemporary feature sets.

For the past 60 years, Bel has been designing and manufacturing electro-mechanical assemblies for the global market.  At Bel Power, we listen to our customers allowing us to develop innovative, high quality products to meet changing requirements.  Your success is built on our continuous attention to all of your major design concerns.  All our solutions offer applicable agency compliance including safety, RoHS and EMI/EMC approvals to the latest standards.
